Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Game 28 Live card game service ("Game 28 Live", "we", "our") collects from players who use our web client, Android app, and backend service (together, the "Service"), and how that information is used. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect the following kinds of information:

• Account information — an email address and/or phone number (at least one is required to sign up), and a password, stored in encrypted/hashed form.
• Gameplay data — the tables, teams, and hands you take part in, the bids, cards, and moves you make during a game, and match/session history, so the game can function and so you can review past hands.
• Chat messages — messages you send in team chat or table chat, so they can be delivered to the other participants in that chat.
• Technical information — basic connection information such as IP address and browser/device type, used for security, abuse prevention, and diagnosing problems with the Service.
• Local storage — the web client stores your session token and a few preferences (such as a saved server address, for local/testing use) in your browser's own local storage. This is not a third-party tracking cookie and is not shared with us automatically — it just lets your browser remember your session.

How we use this information

• To create and secure your account, and to let you sign in.
• To operate core gameplay — matching you into tables and teams, running bidding and trick-play, keeping every seat's view of the game in sync in real time.
• To deliver chat messages to the people you're chatting with.
• Where phone or email verification is enabled, to send you a one-time verification code — this may involve a third-party SMS or email delivery provider acting solely on our behalf to deliver that code.
• To investigate reported issues (see the in-game "Report Issue" feature) and to keep the Service secure and free of abuse.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not use your chat messages or gameplay data for advertising targeting.

Advertising

The Android app may show advertisements (banner, interstitial, or rewarded video) served by Google AdMob and its mediated ad networks. The web client may show display advertisements (a banner on mobile, or side placements on desktop) served by Google AdSense. These networks may collect device and usage information — including the advertising identifier and IP-based approximate location — under their own privacy policies, in order to serve and measure ads.

Data retention

We retain account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Contact below).

Children's privacy

The Service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including password hashing and encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
